• Nick

Nick was the master of travelling light. Pretty much living on hard routine, no mattress and oddly only one pole. Despite having a cold throughout he came in a very respectable 357th.

  • Paul

A comedy genius who slept at the drop of a hat, had a mattress that sounded like a crisp packet and snored like a beast. Came in 499th.

  • Tom

The stretching guru. Tabbed out the race at a consistent speed showing walkers can come easily in the top half at 410th.

  • Jason

Jason finished 165th. He moved fast and travelled light. Read Jason’s kit reviews here.

  • Jules

Jules is an Ironman and now an MDS finisher. She took it to the limits and came through.

  • Peter

Peter was a machine on the MDS. He was a top third finisher and was always the life and soul of tent life. Read Peter’s thoughts on the MDS and his kit review here.

  • Aubs

Aubs was a beast on the track, running a significant portion of the way. He was 95th overall.

  • James

My plan to run the flats and downhills and only walk the uphills changed at checkpoint 2 on day one. I walked the rest! Still, I wasn’t last.
